The Executive Director of YSA of PA has a background in construction and the agency has a long history of building and repairing its facilities. This is becoming more formalized as an accredited vocational program within our expanding school programs.

Currently, we have an association with the U.S. Dept. of Labor supported Job Corps program at the Keystone Job Corps Center. We have a 32 bed facility within this 700 bed campus.

Job Corps is a nationwide residential Vocational School. Our program allows high risk youth to function in this “open” setting by providing additional structure and services in addition to those provided by Job Corps. Youth are “co-enrolled” in both programs, transitioning from several levels of supervision into regular two year Job Corps placements. This may expand into an international traveling construction program known as the Environmental Service Corps (ESC).
